About Us

SkyFor is named after my two sons, Skyler and Forrest.  I named the company this in the early days after my divorce when the boys were just babies to remind me of why I was working so hard!  And the logo is colored blue for the sky above and green for the forest below to remind me of them, as well as our precious connection to our planetary environment that sustains us.

Core values are important to me personally so when I started SkyFor, I came up with the tag line of “Empowerment through systems of high integrity and technology”, and so drew the two white contrails into the logo to remind me of how important integrity is in business and how critical it is in this age to stay on the cutting edge of technology.

SkyFor gives back 10% off the top of what we earn in gross referral revenues to charitable non-profits that support sustainability, biodiversity and the integration of environmental heath and human needs.  Real estate itself is a resource-intensive industry, so  it feels right give back what I can to the mother earth that sustains us all.

SkyFor’s president, Kathleen Chiras, got her broker’s license in the early ’90’s and helped form the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents in 1994. Since then she has seen the growth of buyer and seller representation and how much it benefits consumers. She is currently an active employing broker and is registered with the state of Colorado under her company name, SkyFor, Inc., license #1322345.
